Disqualification & Penalty List
In the event of disqualification, there is no entitlement to a refund of entry fees and fees for additional services.
Failure to comply with the regulations will result in immediate disqualification, including in particular:
- Starting without a bib number
- Providing false personal information during registration.
- Passing on the bib number with transponder to other persons.
- Starting too far forward in the wrong starting block (check the timing!)
- Obscuring, covering, or removing the sponsor logos on the bib number
- Altering the bib number in any way
- Starting as a CT rider
- Starting without a transponder
- Starting with more than one transponder
- Missing split times in the timekeeping
- Exceeding the specified time limit
- Leaving and/or shortening the route
- Being below the specified age
- Riding an unauthorized bicycle (information on this: Bicycle and accessories)
- Using audiovisual media during the race (use of headphones, cell phone, etc.)
- Carrying animals
- Littering outside of designated littering zones
- If one or more participants use the event as a platform for activities not permitted by the organizer that damage the reputation of the organizer or its sponsors, the organizer reserves the right to prevent these participants from starting and to remove them from the race or disqualify them. This applies in particular to unauthorized or unapproved advertising for third parties, especially if they compete with the sponsors of the organizer. In case of doubt, all participants have the opportunity to consult with the organizer at least four weeks before the event.

- Appeals against a classification or disqualification may be lodged with the arbitration tribunal no later than 30 minutes after the end of the competition. A fee of €25.00 is payable with the appeal.
- Appeals against a classification or disqualification must be submitted to the organizer by email (info@rundumkoeln.de) within eight days of the race. No appeals will be accepted after this time.
- The organizer reserves the right to disqualify participants for gross violations even after the appeal period has expired.
